The Origin:

In the year 2544 B.E., devotees united to construct the Guan Yin Bodhisattva Shrine in Khao Rang (Sam Sae Joo Hud). The initiator of the project was Mr. Suwatchai Ekachaisiri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ekachaisiri Co., Ltd. He provided land within the company’s project at the Khao Rang intersection with a budget of over 8 million baht. Within the company’s project, the shrine was completed and the opening ceremony took place.

This place belongs to the Bodhisattva lineage, which emphasizes the practice of precepts and mindfulness through chanting and meditation. The shrine has consistently engaged in this practice. In the shrine is constructed in a Chinese style, numerous Buddha statues have been enshrined in the central hall.

The shrine’s main activities include Thai-Chinese chanting and meditation from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. On Thursdays, a Dharma teaching is conducted through the spirit-medium of Father Toe Sae, providing an opportunity for devotees experiencing difficulties or suffering to inquire. Additionally, there is participation in activities with the club and the shrine during festivals, such as the vegetarian festival.

Belief:

Sam Sae Joo Hud Shrine is a Bodhisattva shrine, and emphasizes the practice of Dharma through chanting, mindfulness, and sitting in meditation to bring happiness and well-being to all who participate in making merit.
