Later, he gave the land to the Lim Hoo Tai Soo Shrine around 2462 BE by issuing a land title deed in the name of Muen Sam Kong (Tan Boon-seng) together with the Lim Hoo Tai Soo Shrine. Furthermore, the congregation appointed him as the manager of the shrine. The original shrine consisted of a cement floor with zinc walls and a thatched roof on wooden posts.
