Enjoy Your Holiday on Racha Island

Another outstanding gem in the vast turquoise ocean is ‘The Racha’, a beautiful resort on Racha Island’s powdery Batok Beach. This quiet island, ideal for spending a restful holiday, is located 12 miles south of Phuket and takes about 35-40 minutes to reach by speed boat.

The Racha Resort is full-on about environmental conservation, making sure that energy within the property is well utilized. During its construction, only seven indigenous trees were cut down to make room for accommodations.

Choosing to spend our summer holiday at The Racha was like giving ourselves a wonderful gift. The 4 days and 3 nights we had here have proven to be a memorable experience none of us will ever forget.

Everything was so charming, from the natural surroundings to the elegant yet contemporary villas. The interiors of each villa is equipped with comforting amenities like bath tub and outdoor rain-shower, plasma TV and DVD player, I-Pad, internet connection, mini bar and tea/coffee makers. They also come with a terrace where guests could sunbathe or relax and enjoy reading.

The breath-taking view from day break till sunset filled our hearts with such aspiration. And throughout our stay, all dining experiences were made complete with 3 dining options; Earth Café, Fire Grill and Sunset. We very much enjoyed Thai and European cuisine, seafood, steaks, barbeque, salad and sandwiches that were prepared by skilled chefs.

Our days were filled with all kinds of activities at Club Del Mar by the beach, the two swimming pools, the basketball court, the Batik-making room and the Thai cooking school. Of course, we couldn’t resist the temptation of aroma massage at Anumba Spa where the scent of essential oils completely transported us to paradise.

There was no doubt in our minds that this holiday surrounded by nature at The Racha was one that could not be outdone easily.
