The Beaches We Love
After the rain has gone, a new season begins. The sky turns bright blue as though to send out signals to beach lovers that it's time to go island-hopping again. No matter how often we've been to these amazing places, we never, ever get tired of them for it is their hypnotic beauty that keeps us coming back time and time again.
Bangtao Beach
Although this beach is not exactly the star of Phuket Island, it does have its own charming quality. The lengthy coastline that extends way ahead is covered with snow-white sand where guests residing at the nearby five-star hotels come out to relax and enjoy.
Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, or with a bunch of friends, you will always have fun here. Just leave your worries behind and stroll on the soft beach where an occasional vendor will approach you to sell their goods. oftentimes, it can be quite interesting.
Multi-colored beach loungers and huge parasols with a backdrop of vivid blue ocean and sky; smiley, tanned-faced vendors selling snacks and various types of food walking up and down; these are the unforgettable beach scenes filled with eclectic flavors of Thailand.
Surin Beach
If you want to see elephants, head to Surin Province; but if it’s wind-surfing you have in mind, Surin Beach is the place you’re looking for. This beach, located between Bangtao and Kamala, is filled with soft, white sand where you can never get tire of treading on.
A typical day on Surin Beach can be both romantic and fun. We had been busy with various activities since the morning, so an afternoon snack of fried meatballs dipped in spicy sauce and chilled glass of fresh coconut juice suddenly seemed like a good idea. As I sat back to enjoy the food while watching friends chase each other around, I realized that it’s little things like this that make life worth living.
Everyone agreed that it had been a fun day and we’d like to recommend our readers to come and experience Surin Beach for themselves. We promise that you will find it unforgettable, too.
Trai Trang Beach
This beach with a cool name has a pleasant and natural atmosphere. It holds a certain charm that we thought was very attractive indeed.
Taking a stroll along the beach, we were enthralled by a sense of peacefulness. Pine and coconut trees swayed to the rhythm of the wind and made soft rustling sounds. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to get away from the noisy, crowded city.
Karon Beach
After a day of sight-seeing, we decided to settle down on Karon Beach for a glass of cold, blended fruit drink. The waitress brought us a long menu in English and we were not surprised as most of the clients are tourists from different countries.
Our drinks arrived and we gulped everything down in a flash…aahhh, satisfying. We then sat back in our chairs and let our minds slip into the joyful simplicity of the surrounding.
Kata Beach
Each and every day, Kata Beach is never without its sun loungers and giant parasols waiting for visitors to come by. And for those whose favorite pastime is to plop down for a nap or read a book, this is your place.
Other than that, it’s a good spot for people of all ages to participate in light activities like swimming, sun-bathing or strolling along the beach. It’s not too quiet nor crowded, just right for a leisure family hang-out.
Naiharn Beach
As we reach Nai Harn Beach, the day is drawing to a close. We gaze up at the sky and decide to spend our last bit of strength enjoying the golden beach and going for a final round of swim.
Soon, the sun began to descend into the unreachable horizon, leaving traces of reddish glow behind. We sat still as though in a trance, soaking in every moment of it. All the beaches we love have something special in itself; and this is why we keep coming back over and over again.
