Let’s escape from hot season to feel the cool breeze of forest at Khao Phra Taew Wildlife Conservation Development Area located in Khao Phra taew, the last evergreen forest of Phuket.

This verdant forest is the home of rare wild plants such as Garjan, Hopea avellane, Gymnacranther, Wild banana, Burmese fishtail palm, bamboo, rattan, Adiantum sp., vines and etc. But the most famous one is Thalang Governor Palm or Kerriodoxa dransfield firstly found in this forest.

Walking along the natural trail, if you are lucky, you can sometimes see the wildlife such as langurs, monkeys, gibbons, wild boars, lesser mouse deer, and 100 kinds of wild bird like Zebra Dove, wild pigeons and bulbuls. Ton Sai Waterfall

Ton Sai Waterfall is a small waterfall origin from Khao Phra Taew. It’s the starting point of 3 kilometers natural trail to Bang Pae Waterfall led by the office staff. It takes approximately 4 hours to walk through the trail surrounded by wild plants.
