Chandara Resort and Spa
Driving from Thao Thep Kasatri- Thao Sri Soontorn Monument heading towards Ao Por Pier, we started to notice impressive yachts in the harbor as we slowly approached our destination. While I daydream about owning one someday, a friend interrupted my thoughts by pointing out that it was time for dinner. We looked around and spotted Chandara Resort and then remembered someone telling us that they serve great food there.
Entering the hotel, we were greeted by a comfortable atmosphere filled with plants and trees. The resort’s villas blend in perfectly with the natural surrounding, but we were too hungry to admire the details so we rushed right to the restaurant. The venue is nice and airy with fresh ocean breeze blowing in steadily.
Plates after plates of scrumptious food were served on the table and we kept refilling our plates with steamed rice. Among the things we ordered were Seafood Tomyum, Shrimp Cakes, Stir-fried Mixed Vegetables, Duck Curry and Deep-Fried Shrimp Rolls with sweet sauce.
We enjoyed every dish but the one most loved by us all was Yum Nua (Spicy Beef Salad) that was really spicy and tender. Other items on the menu that caught our eyes were western food so we decided to order fish steak and beef steak to try. As expected, they were absolutely delicious.
After a hearty meal, we were quite content and sat back to relax a bit more. The bill came and it was more than reasonable. We have to give them full score for good service, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food.
We highly recommend everyone to stop by Chandara Resort and Spa for a very satisfying, meal in a relaxing atmosphere.
