ททท. ขอเชิญชมคอนเสิร์ตช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยประเทศญี่ปุ่น ในวันที่ 2 เมษายน 2554 ณ หาดกะรน โรตารีคลับจังหวัดภูเก็ตกำหนดจัดคอนเสิร์ตขึ้นที่หาดกะรนในวันเสาร์ที่ 2 เมษายน 2554 เริ่มตั้งแต่ 17.00 น. เป็นต้นไป โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาเงินช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยจากแผนดินไหวและสึนามิที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งกิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้จัดขึ้นที่จังหวัดภูเก็ตเพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักท่องเที่ยวและประชาชนจังหวัดภูเก็ตที่ต้องการช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยสึนามิผ่านการซื้อบัตรเข้าชมคอนเสิร์ตในครั้งนี้ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับการสนับสนุนโดยนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลกะรน กะตะกรุ๊ปรีสอร์ท เซ็นทาร่า แกรนด์ บีช รีสอร์ท และโรตารีคลับป่าตอง โดยได้จัดขึ้นภายใต้ชื่อ LOVE AID PHUKET ด้านกะตะกรุ๊ป รีสอร์ทและ เซ็นทาร่า แกรนด์ บีช รีสอร์ท ได้รวบรวมเงินช่วยเหลือจากโรงแรมใหญ่ๆ หลายแห่งในจังหวัดภูเก็ต ซึ่งโรงแรมทั้งหมดต่างก็ตั้งใจที่จะสนับสนุนกิจกรรม LOVE AID PHUKET อย่างเต็มที่โดยไม่หักค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ ทั้งสิ้น สำหรับผู้ร่วมแสดงคอนเสิร์ตช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยญี่ปุ่นในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ Hisashi , TATA Young, Job 2 Do, Richy Zen ,Sacha, The Coconut Head Band, Jelly Fish, Black Fiber and the Rock School Band. ทั้งนี้ ทาทา ยัง นักร้องมากด้วยคุณภาพของประเทศไทยได้กล่าวถึงการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ว่า “ตอบรับทันทีเมื่อได้รับการติดต่อให้มาร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้โดยไม่คิดทบทวนอีกครั้ง เพราะอยากจะร่วมช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่นด้วยการทำอะไรบางอย่างให้กับผู้ประสบภัยเหล่านั้น” Edgardo Tanael ผู้จัดงานหลักจากกะตะบีชรีสอร์ทกล่าวว่า “ ทางผู้จัดได้พูดคุยกับวงดนตรีใหญ่ๆ หลายแห่งในขณะนี้ โดยแต่ละวงต่างมีชื่อเสียงเป็นที่รู้จักทั้งในไทยและต่างประเทศ นักแสดงดังกล่าวต่างมีผลตอบรับในทางที่ดีและต้องการมีส่วนร่วมในการมาเล่นคอนเสิร์ตในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งกิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นอีกกิจกรรมหนึ่งที่เปิดโอกาสให้คนภูเก็ตได้มีส่วนร่วมในการช่วยกันบริจาคให้กับผู้ประสบภัยสึนามิที่ญี่ปุ่น ภายใต้ชื่อ “บริจาค 100% สำหรับประเทศญี่ปุ่น” Brad Kenny ประธานกรรมการโรตารีคลับกล่าวว่า เงินบริจาคทั้งหมดทางโรตารีคลับป่าตองจะส่งมอบ โดยตรงให้กับโรตารีอินเตอร์เนชั่นแนลคลับที่ญี่ปุ่นเพื่อนำไปช่วยเหลือในพื้นที่ประสบภัยต่อไป สำหรับค่าบัตรเข้าชม คอนเสิร์ตราคา 100 บาท (ไม่รวมค่าอาหาร) ภายในงานมีจำหน่ายอาหารและเครื่องดื่มในราคา 100 บาทต่อรายการ หรือเลือกซื้อบัตรเหมาจ่าย 1,000 บาท(รวมทุกอย่างที่ต้องการทาน) ทั้งนี้ผู้จัดจะแจ้งให้ทราบอีกครั้งถึงจุดจำหน่ายบัตรผ่านทางเว็บไซด์ www.loveaidphuket.org สอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมได้ที่คุณแบรด์ เคนนี่ ประธานกรรมการโรตารีคลับ:LoveAidPhuket@yahoogroups.com ภาพก่อนเกิดเหตุการณ์และหลังเกิดเหตุการณ์สึนามิที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น Fujitsuka Before

In the early of Christian Age, the cape of Phuket was locally referred to as Jung Ceylon, while natives called the place Cha Lang, which evolved to Thalang the name of the island. During the 16 century, the island was also a popular trading port for tin.

Sino-Portugese architecture casts its spell delighting travelers to the city, while Phuket-style hospitality has never failed to impress visitors from all walks of life. |
