Rotary in Action For Flood VictimsRotarian Kenth Nilsson shows his rotary spirit by walking in the rain in Patong to raise funds for the flood victims in Thailand. Last night in Patong, the Rotary Club of Patong Beach along with members of the other 5 Thai Rotary Clubs walked in the rain from Jungceylon to Soi Bangla from 9:30pm-11pm to ask for donations to help the flood victims who are suffering in Thailand at the moment. Around B 30,000 were raised in only 2 hours! All donations will be sent to the a designated Rotary club in Bangkok for distribution to the necessary cities who suffer from flooding. |
