Phuket E Magazine Would like all my friends donate for flood and landslide victims in Thailand with 6 rotary in Phuket.

The Fundraising efforts of all 6 Rotary Clubs in Phuket to help the Flood and Landslide victims in Thailand over a two day period (April 4th & 5th of 2011).

The two days alone raised over B270,000!   On the 1st day we saw the Rotarians walk the streets of Phuket Town starting from the Lan Mongkorn Park all the way to Robinson and further along the Yaowarat Rd. in Samkong before returning back to the park.  The trip was around 2 hours with over 30 rotarians participating.

The second night started from the Port Arena at Jungceylon in Patong from 9pm with the walk to Soi Bangla hitting many bars and night clubs.  Many Thais were very generous in donating more than the foreigners.

The 6 Rotary Clubs (RC) include: RC of Phuket, RC of Phuket South, RC of Junkseilon, RC of Patong Beach, RC of Andaman and RC of Tongkah.]

Anyone wishing to donate through the Rotary Clubs can contact us at 081-697-3276 or 085-889-9930.
