“Thailand Indy Barista Championship # 3” During 14th -15th August 2010, the final round of a regional event called ‘Thailand Indy Barista Championship’ was held on the first floor of HomeWorks, Phuket. The event was held under the association of Aroma Group Ltd, Green Sport Co. Ltd, and Thai Coffee Association in order to find the best barista or coffee maker in southern region and be the representative to join the national competition in Bangkok on 11th-12th September 2010. There were 20 baristas from southern provinces in the competition. Mr. Supachai Sood-Pai from ‘Andaman Coffee’ won the ‘Silver Temper’ and he will continue his success in the Thailand Indy Barista Championship at Bangkok during 11-12 September 2010. |

27 August 2010, Phuket – The 2010 Phuket Property Dot Com Pro Am Invitational pairs top professional golfers with amateurs at Phuket’s Blue Canyon Country Club on 5th November 2010 in a round of golf to raise money for Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation. This is the first charity Pro Am golf invitational of its kind on Phuket Island and offers over US$150,000 of prizes. Headline sponsored by Phuket Property Dot Com, the 2010 Pro Am Invitational will bring up to 30 touring golf professionals from around the world to Phuket, further cementing Phuket’s position as a leading golf resort destination in Asia. European Tour and Asian Tour players will join with amateurs to play Blue Canyon Country Club’s celebrated Canyon Course, voted Best Golf Course in Asia by FinanceAsia (2003, 2006, 2008, 2009), followed by a four-course gala dinner. Being the only three-time host of the Johnnie Walker Classic (1994, 1998, 2007), the Canyon Course is renowned for its difficulty and will test professionals and amateurs alike. Tour players confirmed include five-time winner Simon Yates (Asian Tour) who is also in the Top 10 career money winners list; five-time winner and longest hitter on the Asian Tour Scott Hend; ten-time winner Gerry Norquist (Asian Tour); three-time winner Terry Pilkadaris (Asian Tour); Jason Knutzon who is currently in the top 10 money list for this year (Asian Tour), and Anthony Kang who is in the Top 10 career money winners list. “We’re proud to be the title sponsor of the 2010 Phuket Property Dot Com Pro Am Invitational. 24 August 2010 at Jamjuree1 Room, Phuket Merlin Hotel, Phuket: Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thailand Institute held up a seminar ” 7 Greens Seminar: Enjoy Traveling, Caring for the Environment”.
The event included government agencies and private tourism groups in the South to sign the Memorandum of cooperation to apply the 7 Greens concept and promoted awareness of the environmental problem and global warming. In addition, participants also learned and shared their experiences through the eyes of the various actors of activities: tourism guides, spa and hotel groups, transportation services providers, and organization that provided support for travel, tourism and community groups. The implementation plan refereed to the direction of travel operations and environmental management that were simple to manage, such as renewable energy used in the workplace or in transit, choosing products that were environmentally friendly in providing services to tourist, etc. These activity enhanced marketing strategies for entrepreneurs to incorporate knowledge and understanding to act in their own marketed to tourists who cared for the environment.

นอกจากนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมยังได้เรียนรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ ผ่านมุมมองของผู้ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวแขนงต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นกลุ่มกิจกรรมนำเที่ยว กลุ่มโรงแรมและสปา กลุ่มผู้ให้บริการขนส่ง และกลุ่มชุมชนท่องเที่ยว ถึงทิศทาง หรือการดำเนินการท่องเที่ยวที่ใส่ใจ สิ่งแวดล้อมที่ทำได้ง่าย เช่น การเลือกใช้พลังงานทดแทนในสถานประกอบการหรือในการขนส่ง การเลือกใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม ในการให้บริการต่อนักท่องเที่ยว เป็นต้น ซึ่งสิ่งต่างๆเหล่านี้ เป็นการส่งเสริมกลยุทธ์ทางการตลาดให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการ ที่จะนำองค์ความรู้ ความเข้าใจ ตลอดจนการลงมือปฏิบัติในหน่วยงานของตนเอง เพื่อดึงดูดตลาดนักท่องเที่ยวที่ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อมต่อไป |
