The Renaissance Phuket Resort and Spa recently opens on Mai Khao beach in the northern Phuket Island promising a boutique experience with distinctive luxury and exceptional service. Phuket, Thailand, May 24, 2010 – over 20 Renaissance Phuket ambassadors recently joined the 6th Mai Khao Mini Marathon & Fun Run 2010 which was held on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Pru Jeh Son Lake in front of the resort. This event aims to raise the funds for its annual contribution to the Phuket Marine Biological Center’s injured sea turtle’s rehabilitation program and encourage people’s awareness of sea turtle situation. The event was honored by Khun Chaiwat Thaepee, Deputy Governor of Phuket and started at 6am with 10.5km Mini Marathon and 3.5km Fun Run while numbers of Phuket organization and resort had contributed their prizes for this charity event’s runners.
